Students' Grievance and Redressal Cell Establishment of Grievance Redressal Committee in the Institution and Appointment of OMBUDSMAN by the University. (As per All India Council for Technical Education (Establishment Mechanism for Grievance Redressal) Regulations, 2012, F. No. 37- 3/ Lega112012, dated 25.05.2012) KMCT College of Engineering is committed to establishing a safe and peaceful environment for learning and working. We have established a Grievance Resolution Unit in accordance with the University Grants Commission regulations of 2012 (The Gazette of India, March 23- 29, 2013), the notification from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University Thiruvananthapuram, and the AICTE Regulation Act of 1987 (AICTE Notification F. No. 37- 3/legal 2012, dated 25/05/2012). This committee is in charge of handling daily complaints from parents and students. It makes it easier for these complaints to be resolved fairly and impartially by involving the appropriate department or organisation in charge of the specific problem and maintaining anonymity where necessary. The issue Resolution Unit is open to receiving complaints from any stakeholder who has a valid issue. You can file a grievance online at https://kmctcollegeofengineering.edugrievance.com Depending on the nature of the problem, KMCTCE is dedicated to rapidly resolving the grievances. Whether they are related to academic or non-academic issues, KMCTCE guarantees that students have a trustworthy way to voice their complaints and concerns. This includes complaints about exams, victimisation, attendance, fees, and any kind of harassment by faculty or other students. To support this process, Grievance Redressal Committees have been established at both the Program (UG/PG) and Institute levels. This committee is tasked with accepting, recording, and resolving student complaints efficiently and without bias. It guarantees students a dedicated venue to voice their concerns regarding academics, facilities, interactions with faculty, unequal treatment, harassment, or any other matter impacting their welfare.
