Establishment

As per Section 4 of the All India Council for Technical Education (Gender Sensitization, Prevention and Prohibition of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students and Redressal of Grievances in Technical Institutions) Regulations, 2016, vide No. F. AICTE/WH/2016/01 dated 10th June, 2016.

The role of this Committee is to manage reports of sexual harassment and support victims in safeguarding their dignity within the institutional setting.

The specific functions of the Committee are:

  • Receive complaints of sexual harassment.
  • Initiate and conduct an inquiry, and subsequently submit the findings derived from the investigation.
  • Direct the administration to implement the necessary actions based on the inquiry's outcome.
  • Submit an annual report following the officially prescribed format.
